Documentation

Detailed guides are on the way. In the meantime, the FAQ below covers the most common questions — and we're always reachable if you need a hand.

The Shorti.es name plays on shawty / shorty slang and shorties — here meaning short links: one compact, shareable address instead of juggling a pile of URLs.

Local authority (Cebu)

cebucity.ph and cebu.city tell people you serve Cebu City before they open the link — great for shops, services, and anyone who wins on locality and search in the area.

Personality-first (premium)

whaddup.foo and ayt.bet are casual, slang-forward hosts — strong for creators, freelancers, nightlife, streetwear, and anyone whose brand sounds like a text, not a brochure. whaddup.foo echoes whaddup as informal "what's up"; .foo keeps the URL light. ayt reads as casual English shorthand for "alright" or a quick check-in across DMs and social streams. .bet doubles as colloquial "bet" (okay, for sure) in everyday online English. Less "find me on Google," more remember this link.

FAQ

Common questions

Answers to what most people ask first.

How many bio pages can I have?

Each account gets one bio page on the free plan. If you need multiple pages — for different businesses or brands — reach out via the contact page and we can discuss your options.

What is the difference between free, domain, and pro?

Free gives you a full bio page at shorti.es/@handle with themes and 10 lifetime short links — no credit card required.

Domain ($3.25/month, billed annually) adds premium hosts — including cebucity.ph and cebu.city for Cebu-local positioning, and whaddup.foo and ayt.bet for personality-first links — plus 100 short links per month. See Choose your address above.

Pro ($6.50/month, billed annually) includes everything in Domain, plus 1,000 short links per month, BYO apex domain support, and Web Pages when they launch.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes — on the Pro plan you can connect an apex domain you already own (BYO). Point your DNS to Shorti.es, verify the connection, and your bio page and eligible short links will be served from your own domain using the same builder.

What happens after I reserve my @handle?

Your handle is reserved and your page is immediately live at shorti.es/@handle. From there, use the builder to add sections — a map, image cards, links, social icons, and more — then share your link whenever you're ready.

Can I change my @handle later?

Handle changes are possible but not yet self-serve. Contact us and we'll sort it out — keep in mind that changing your handle changes your public URL, so update anywhere you've shared the old link.

Is there a limit on short link clicks?

No — clicks are unlimited on all plans. The limits on short links apply to how many links you can create (10 lifetime on free, 100/month on domain, 1,000/month on pro), not how many times they can be clicked.

Why upgrade to cebucity.ph or cebu.city?

Your free shorti.es address works well — it's indexed by search engines and shareable anywhere. Upgrading to a Cebu domain address adds a locality signal: customers see "cebucity.ph" or "cebu.city" in the link itself, which builds trust faster and helps search engines understand that your business serves Cebu City.

Both domains are included together on the Domain and Pro plans. Learn more at cebucity.ph. For a non-Cebu, personality-first link on the same plans, see whaddup.foo and ayt.bet above.

What are whaddup.foo and ayt.bet?

They are premium hosts on Domain and Pro — casual, slang-forward domain addresses for brands that want the URL to sound like them (creators, side hustles, streetwear, food stalls, nightlife, and similar). whaddup.foo leans on whaddup as informal "what's up" in everyday English speech and online chat, and .foo keeps the address playful instead of bank-serious. ayt reads as casual English shorthand for "alright" or a quick check-in in DMs and comments worldwide. .bet doubles as colloquial "bet" (okay, agreed, for sure) in everyday online English. They pair with the same builder as your page on shorti.es — the Shorti.es name plays on shawty / shorty slang and shorties(short links), the same "short" idea as your bio URL and short paths. Think memorable link, not corporate polish. Contrast: cebucity.ph / cebu.city emphasize local authority in Cebu.

Can I use Shorti.es instead of a full website?

Many businesses do. A Shorti.es page gives you a searchable, shareable online presence — with a map, photos, links, and contact info — at a fraction of the cost and complexity of a full website. Web Pages (landing and product pages) are on the roadmap for Pro users and will expand this further.
